Medical Mesotherapy are used to treat swollen or painful joints, such as after an injury or if you have arthritis. The hydrocortisone is injected directly into the painful joint. This is called an intra-articular injection. The joints most often injected are the shoulder, elbow, knee, hand, wrist or hip. This can also be used for painful tendons or bursitis

Do I need to do anything before having Mesotherapy?

Please refrain from any non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs for 1 week prior Please avoid blood thinners such as aspirin Both these medications can increase the chance of bleeding and bruising Please attend your appointment with no makeup as this is an infection risk

How many sessions are required with Mesotherapy?

This depends on the skin concerns being treated but may be every 10 days initially or could be monthly. This will be discussed at your consultation.
