What is Ozempic and saxenda/skinny pen?
Liraglutide is an anti-diabetic medication for type 2 diabetes but can also assist with appetite suppression and in turn weight loss. It is not a first line choice but can be used for those patients struggling as obesity has many long-term health issues.
What will I learn with weight loss training?
This is an online course unless otherwise specified. The course will cover everything you need to know about Ozempic and Saxenda to ensure you are able to safely confirm patient suitability. You will be trained by a medic and a vast majority of the training is hands on. We will also help you with finding a prescriber or if suitable we have an in house prescriber.
Who is this course for?
For those who want to be able to offer clients assistance with weight loss.
Entry requirements
This course is for medics or non-medics who have completed a beauty level 3 qualification, a level 3 in anatomy and physiology or an SPMU course. Please contact us if you are unsure.
Course Overview
You will have a 1-1 zoom session with our in house medical prescriber to go through the entire course. You will then be given post-course material.
