What will I learn with cannulation training?

You will learn the skills to be able to place a cannula in a patient. You will be trained by a medic and a vast majority of the training is hands on. We will also help you with finding a prescriber or if suitable we have an in house prescriber.

Who is this course for?

For those who want to be able to offer clients services such as IV infusions or for those working in healthcare.

Entry requirements

This course is for medics or non-medics who have completed a beauty level 3 qualification, a level 3 in anatomy and physiology or an SPMU course. Also suitable for those wishing to undertake cannulation for healthcare worker posts. Please contact us if you are unsure.

Course Overview

You will have a practical session 1 to 1 with our advanced medic in the clinic. You will then be given post-course material.

  Practical:
• Live model demonstrations

Course duration:

This is a half day course for the practical aspect
