What is phlebotomy?

Phlebotomy is the skills to be able to collect blood from a patient whether this is for analysis or for PRP treatment.

What will I learn with phlebotomy training?

You will learn the skills to be able to safely take blood from a patient. You will be trained by a medic and a vast majority of the training is hands on. We will also help you with finding a prescriber or if suitable we have an in house prescriber.

Who is this course for?

For those who want to be able to offer clients blood analysis services or for PRP.

Entry requirements

This course is for medics or non-medics who have completed a beauty level 3 qualification, a level 3 in anatomy and physiology or an SPMU course. Also suitable for those wishing to undertake phlebotomy for healthcare worker posts. Please contact us if you are unsure.

Course Overview

You will have a practical session 1 to 1 with our advanced medic in the clinic. You will then be given post-course material.

  Practical:
• Live model demonstrations

This is a half day course for the practical aspect

This is a half day course. Total cost £200 delivered over zoom or in person if added on to another course. Standalone in person cost £500, group offer of up to 8 is £800.
