What is Desirial Plus?

Desirial Plus is a Hyaluronic Acid dermal filler specifically for vaginal rejuvenation. This can enhance the outer lips for volume loss for those women who find discomfort due to this.

What can Desirial Plus be used to treat?

Suitable for peri-menopausal, menopausal and those of reproductive age with a predisposition for or manifest signs of moderate to severe hypotrophy or atrophy of the labia majora. Desirial Plus is a cohesive gel, used to treat imperfections of the vulva, as well as functional disorders including vaginal atrophy and moderate to severe symptoms of lipoatrophy (fat loss) of the labia majora.

Contraindications?

There are no specific contraindications other than women who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding but all will be discussed in depth at consultation.

How long does the treatment last?

Approximately 6 months but this is individual

Does Desirial have any side effects?

Redness, swelling, itching and tenderness at the injection site but this normally resolves within 24 hours.

How much product is required?

Again this is individual but normally 1 to 2mls is plenty.
